operating instructions - spa conversion
  1. When considering an installation site, always allow for access to the equipment.
  2. A minimum access panel required for a standard system is 400mm x 400mm. The sizes of the access panels will vary depending on the type of system opted for.
  3. Ventilation for the pumps and motors is a requirement.
  4. Do not lift the bath by any portion of the plumbing.
  5. In order for the spa to function properly, it must be placed on a smooth level surface.
  6. The unit, once placed in position can be leveled using the adjustable legs.
  7. Support the flange of the bath against the wall by securing battens to the wall at the correct height.
  8. Connect the waste trap to the bath / spa waste outlet.
  9. Although the spa has been through stringent water and quality checks at the factory, bad and rough handling could cause leakages.
  10. Test the system:
    10.1)  Fill the bath to above the jets
    10.2)  Allow to stand for 30 minutes and check carefully for possible leaks.
    10.3)  Check the clear 3mm bellows tubing is connected to the pump and blower motor / s.
    10.4)  Re-test the spa under working conditions.
    10.5)  Secure the spa by bedding in the legs with mortar mix.
    10.6)  Enclosure of the spa must be such that the plumbing, pump and / or blower on the bath is
               not disturbed.
    10.7)  Unlike a normal bath, the brickwork cannot fit flush underneath the lip of the bath.
  11. Libra Bathroomware offer a 12 (twelve) month warranty from the date of purchase. The warranty becomes null and void if the above instructions are not strictly adhered too.
